  • 摘要:In this paper, a Monte Carlo (MC) simulation is developed for estimating the reliability of Logistics and Supply Chain Networks (LaSCNs). The proposed MC is a modified and an improved algorithm for LaSCNs inspired from literature. The MC is tested with synthetically generated six cases with different sized LaSCNs. The cases are covering a logistics network, a supply chain network and a military tactical logistics distribution network with their extended versions. The results indicated that the proposed simulation is estimating the reliabilities of the networks in reasonable CPU times. Therefore, the proposed algorithm can be preferred for reliable LaSCN design problems while estimating the network reliabilities of candidate networks.
