摘要:Hand motor and sensory functions may be impaired by several causes, including healthy aging or nerve damage. It is common to practice hand or finger rehabilitation/training exercises to improve hand function and re-educate sensory information. This article presents a haptic surface prototype for hand rehabilitation/training. The device is connected to a virtual environment and allows for the practice of a variety of hand/finger exercises. The difficulty of the exercise can be adjusted by adjusting the stiffness of its surface via the Particle Jamming method.
