摘要：Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de 5.sınıf fen bilimleri ders kitaplarında yer alan ölçme ve değerlendirmetekniklerinin incelenmesidir. Farklı yayınevleri tarafından basılan ve 5.sınıfdüzeyinde okutulan dört fen bilimleri ders kitabı incelenmiştir. Fen bilimleriders kitapları içerik analizine göre analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulargeleneksel tekniklerin ders Türkiye’deki 5.sınıf fen bilimleri derskitaplarında yaygın olarak kullanıldığını ve ölçme ve değerlendirmetekniklerinin tür ve kullanım oranlarının yayınevlerine ve ünitelere görefarklılıklar gösterdiğini ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca bazı alternatif vegeleneksel değerlendirme tekniklerinin ders kitaplarında yer almadığıgörülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları 5.sınıf fen bilimleri ders kitaplarında yeralan ölçme ve değerlendirme anlayışlarının fen bilimleri öğretim programındaistenilen düzeyde olmadığını göstermektedir. Çalışmanın sonunda bulgulartartışılarak, önerilere yer verilmiştir. The aim of this study was to examine the measurement and assessmenttechniques presented in 5th grade science textbooks in Turkey. Fourscience textbooks published by different companies and employed in 5thgrade level was investigated in the study. Content analysis was used to examinethe science textbooks. The obtained findings revealed that traditionaltechniques are widely used in 5th grade science textbooks in Turkeyand that the type and usage rate of measurement and assessment techniquesdifferentiate according to publishers and units. Also, it was observed thatsome type of the alternative and traditional assessment techniques do notappear in the textbooks. Results of this study indicate that measurement andassessment understanding reflected in the science textbooks used in 5thgrade does not accord with the science curriculum at the desired level. At theend of the paper, findings are discussed and suggestions are represented.
