摘要：The aim of the studywas to determine the students' perceptions about science classroom activitiesand their interest in science subjects in terms of gender and class variablesand to identify the relationship between them. It was carried out with 387students (183 females, 204 males) from 2 schools in 2 different provinces ofMarmara region and during the spring term of 2018-2019 academic year. The studywas participated in by 6th to8th grade students. The convenience samplingmethod was used to determine the study group. A cross-sectional screeningmethod was used in the study. The data were collected by using the Science ClassroomActivities Scale and Science Subjects Interest Scale. Descriptive statistics,one-way variance (ANOVA), independent groups t-test and correlation analysiswere used to analyse the data. According to the results of the research, it wasdetermined that the interest levels of students in the science courses andtheir perceptions of pushing the limits, making a selection, and showinginterest in the activities of science courses were at a moderate level. It wasdetermined that female students had more interest in science than males;however, it was also found that, according to the grade level, the interestlevels of students concerning the science subjects did not differ statisticallysignificantly. It was also determined that there was statistically no significantdifference between the perceptions of students concerning science activitiesaccording to gender and grade level. A positive, statistically significant, andweak correlation was found between the students’ perception scores for thescience class activities and the interest scores for science subjects.Çalışmadaöğrencilerin fen bilimleri dersi sınıf etkinliklerine ilişkin algıları ile fenkonularına yönelik ilgi düzeylerinin cinsiyet ve sınıf değişkenleri açısındanbelirlenmesi ve aralarındaki ilişkinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma2018-2019 akademik yılı bahar döneminde Marmara bölgesinin 2 farklı ilinden 2okulda toplam (183 kız, 204 erkek) 387 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir.Çalışmaya 6-8. sınıf öğrencileri dahil edilmiştir. Çalışma grubunubelirlenmesinde kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır.Çalışma da tarama yöntemlerinden kesitsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır.Veriler, Fen Konularına Yönelik İlgi Ölçeği ve Fen Bilimleri Dersi SınıfEtkinliklerim Ölçeği ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde betimselistatistik, tek yönlü varyans (ANOVA), bağımsız gruplar t-Testi ve korelasyonanalizi yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarında öğrencilerin fenbilimleri etkinliklerine ilişkin zevk alma, ilgi duyma, seçim yapabilme vesınırları zorlama algı ve fen konularına yönelik ilgi düzeylerinin orta düzeydeolduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, kız öğrencilerin fen konularına yönelikilgilerinin erkeklerden daha fazla olduğu ancak sınıf düzeyine göre öğrencilerininfen konularına yönelik ilgilerinin istatiksel olarak anlamlı şekildefarklılaşmadığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyine göreöğrencilerin fen bilimleri dersi sınıf etkinliklerine yönelik algıları arasındaanlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı da tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin fen bilimleridersi sınıf etkinliklerine yönelik algı puanları ile fen konularına yönelikilgi puanları arasında pozitif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı zayıf düzeydebir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
