摘要：The aim of research is to design, conduct andimplement an exemplary outdoor-school learning environment for SustainableEnvironment that can be used in the 5th grade science course and toexamine its reflections on students. Case study, one of the qualitativeresearch methods, was used. The research was carried out with 32 students in 5thgrade studying in a secondary school in the cal district of Ağrı provincein the second term of 2018-2019 academic year. In the study, activities wereprepared according to the achievements of the 5th grade “Human andEnvironment” unit in the 2018 Science Education Program. The trip was organizedto Ata Botanic Garden, which is one of the extra-school learning environments.The sustainable environmental scale was applied as a pre-test and post-test,and a statistically significant difference were found in favor of thepost-test. After the trip, the students stated that they learned a lot from AtaBotanic Garden. Araştırmanın amacı 5. sınıf fen bilimleridersinde kullanılabilecek Sürdürülebilir Çevre konusunda örnek bir okul dışıöğrenme ortamı uygulaması tasarlamak, yürütmek ve öğrenciler üzerindekiyansımalarını incelemektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışmasıkullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2018-2019 Eğitim Öğretim yılı 2. döneminde Ağrı iliMerkez ilçesinde bir ortaokulda öğrenim görmekte olan 5. sınıf 32 öğrenci ileyürütülmüştür. Çalışmada 2018 Fen Bilimleri Öğretim Programında bulunan 5.sınıf “İnsan ve Çevre” ünitesine ait kazanımlara göre etkinliklerhazırlanmıştır. Okul dışı öğrenme ortamlarından biri olan Ata Botanik Bahçesinegezi düzenlenmiştir. Sürdürülebilir çevre ölçeği ön test ve son test olarakuygulanmış, son test lehine istatiksel anlamda farklılık bulunmuştur. Botanikbahçesine yapılan gezinin öğrencilerin çevre bilincini artırmada etkili olduğutespit edilmiştir.
