摘要:Thisstudy included the participation of sedentary women between the ages of 20 and30 who were doing fitness and pilates exercises. Social physique anxiety (SPA)status of participants was compared. Exercises continued for eight weeks.Twenty-seven sedentary women between 20 and 30 participated in the studyvoluntarily. The volunteers were divided into two groups: pilates group (PG, n= 15) and fitness group (FG, n = 12). For eight weeks, PG performed pilatesexercises for three hours a week for eight weeks. The FG performed the 8-weekfitness exercise for three days eight week. Body weight (BW), fat ratio (%),body mass index (BMI) were measured before and after eight weeks of exerciseprogram and SPA inventory was completed. Data were analyzed with the SPSSpackage program. There was a significant difference between BW, BMI and SPAvalues when compared with the pre-end data of FG and PG (p <0.05). In thecomparison between groups, there was a significant difference in favor of PGand SPA values (p <0.05). As a result, we can mention the positive effect ofthe exercise programs we have implemented in favor of PG.
