摘要:Purpose. Battle Ropes is currently one of the most complete training modalities within CrossFit or functionaltraining and that it is causing real rage around the world. With this new technique the player will practically exercisethe body completely: arms, shoulders, back, abdominals and, to a lesser extent, the lower train. The purpose of thisstudy was to investigate the effects of battle rope exercises on power and leaping ability in rhythmic gymnastics forfemale college students.Methods. Thirty college students were randomly allocated to receive either a 10-weeks intervention of the ofbattle ropes exercises (n = 15) and a control group receiving 10-weeks of normal training only (n = 15). The datacollected before and after the program for the two groups.Results. Statistical analyses showed that: Significant Difference between the pre and posttests for experimental group in Vertical jump, hand GripStrength (right-lift), Softball throw test and Performance level of Leaping ability for posttest to theexperimental group. Significant Difference between the pre and posttests for control group in Performance level of Leaping abilityfor posttest to the control group. Significant Difference between the experimental group and control group in Vertical jump, hand Grip Strength(right-lift), Softball throw test and Performance level of Leaping ability for posttest to the experimental group.Conclusions. Under the conditions of our study, battle ropes training to 10 weeks resulted in an increase inpower and leaping ability for female college students. These results must be considered by coaches and teachers inorder to better understand and implicated of these concepts for technical effects of training.
