摘要:The removal of low concentrations of toluene using non-thermal plasma (NTP) coupled with Mn- Ce/La/ cordierite honeycomb (CHB) catalysts had been investigated in this study. Mn/ CHB, Mn-Ce/ CHB, Mn- La/ CHB catalysts were prepared for the experiment. The removal rate and removal amount of toluene, generation of O3 and main aerosol byproducts for different reactors had been investigated. The catalysts were characterized by BET, SEM, XRD and H2-TPR. The results showed that rare earth catalysts could improve the removal efficiency of toluene and the degree of mineralization effectively. Mn-La/ CHB catalyst had the better catalytic performance than Mn-Ce/ CHB catalyst. The toluene removal rate and removal amount of Mn- La/CHB catalyst could be achieved at 76.31% and 159.0mg/h, respectively, while the initial concentration of toluene being 600mg/m3, discharge voltage being 22kV and gas flow rate being 6 L/min. Moreover, H2 -TPR results showed that the low- temperature activity and capability of O3 adsorption enhanced with the loading of rare earth catalysts. Catalysts were contributed to the decomposition of O3 .
