摘要:The prediction of tight sandstone fractures in low-amplitude tectonic zone using conventional logs is a difficult and expanding field for the evaluation of oil and gas reservoirs. Taking the Upper Paleozoic tight sandstone in the low-altitude tectonic zone of the eastern Ordos Basin as an example, the logging prediction method of tight sandstone fractures were systematically studied based on the conventional logging and FMI imaging logging data. A new fracture index (Fc) was constructed to identify fractures based on variable scale fractal probability method. There is a very good positive exponential correlation between the constructed Fc and the fracture linear density. As the fracture linear density increases from 1 m-1 to 4 m-1, the Fc value increases from approximately 0.1 to 0.5. The fracture identification rate of this model is between 66.7% and 83.3%. For the main gas layers or gastesting layers, the fracture prediction results are very consistent with their actual distribution, indicating the effectiveness of this method.
