摘要：The aim of this study was to determine the location of potential wind turbines in Swarzqdz municipality (Poland) and to evaluate their visual impact on the landscape with regard to the opinion of the local community. An analysis of the landscape’s visual attractiveness was carried out based on field studies. A survey of the visual impact of wind farms was conducted on a group of randomly selected respondents who evaluated the landscape’s attractiveness based on two photographs with and without wind turbines. Two potential locations for wind farm construction were proposed based on current law requirements. Landscape attractiveness analysis revealed different level of these to selected sites. The results of the survey of the visual effect of wind farms showed that they have no impact on the respondents’ perception of such a landscape. There is also no effect of landscape attractiveness on public opinion regarding to location of wind turbines.
