  • 摘要:The security status indicator in a work system is characterized by safety levels or by risk levels. One of the types of risks in the workplace is the risk of explosion that is part of the risk factors specific to the working environment - chemical risk factors. The works of consolidating and arranging the infrastructure of a motorway include in their scheme the execution of a series of vertical geotechnical drills of the rock stratigraphic column on which is placed the construction and drillings dimensioned at certain depths and diameters which are concreted in order to ensure the load of the upper structure of the building. In some of these drills there has been a phenomenon of occurrence of gases that, within certain concentration limits, are explosive and create a state of danger by producing an explosion inside them, which by propagating to the surface can affect the safety of workers and means for work. This paper is a case study at a workplace of a trading company specializing in construction and proposes an analysis of the causes of explosive gases occurrence, work environment monitoring, and solutions for diminishing the OHS risk factors.
