摘要:The scope of the current study was to investigate the impact of flexible HRMPractices on the employee retention with mediating role of employee creativity andpsychological empowerment. The unit of analysis for the study is nursing staff employed indifferent government and private hospitals of Pakistan. Total response rate of the datacollection is 91%. Sample size of 272 was faced as restraint. Sampling technique isconvenience based and data collection is cross-sectional. The study has its originality as anintegrative model formulated with the combination of these variables has not been testedearlier specifically in hospitals of Pakistan. Results of the study indicate that the HRMPractices (job security, flexible work arrangements, incentiveandpay and skill training) havea significant and direct relationship with employee retention with effective mediating role ofpsychological empowerment and employee creativity. 04 HRMP selected for current studyout of 14 were faced as a limitation. However, the organizations should encourage flexibilityin HRMP and ensure formulation and implementation of employee concerned policies andprocedures which will resultantly assist in employee retention. The study has its significancefor policy makers, managers, supervisors and employees at all levels.
