摘要:The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship of proactivepersonality and employee creativity through different level in software industry of Pakistan.For the purpose, data were collected from 103 software engineers working in differentsoftware houses of Pakistan. The respondents rate their proactive personality, whereas theircreativity level was rated by their immediate supervisors. The results of study indicate thatproactive personality is having significant relationship with employee creativity andoptimism, job autonomy, supervisor support are potential moderator between the proactivepersonality and employee creativity. The current study is unique in nature as it is coveringthe potential factors which can influence the creativity level of employee such as personalfactors (Proactive Personality and Optimism), Job level factor (Job Autonomy) andOrganization related factor (Supervisor Support) which have not been discussed collectivelyin the literature. Moreover in Pakistani context no single study found in published literatureregarding proactive personality and employee creativity.
