  • 摘要:Due to the growing demand and wide usage ofWireless Mesh Network (WMN), the situation whereintwo or more links using the same channel is increasing.This causes interference and other related issues whichdegrades the network performance. Also, choosing anappropriate gateway among the available multiplegateways is a critical concern. In order to address theseissues in this study, a dynamic channel assignment andgateway selection protocol for multi-channel hybridwireless mesh network is proposed. In this protocol, asuitable gateway is chosen which fulfils the criteria of thesource node. Then channels are assigned in the networkby the gateway between itself and the mobile nodes in afair manner. Simulation results show that the proposedtechnique attains maximum throughput and minimizeddelay when compared to the existing cross-layer controldynamic gateway selection approach.
