摘要：A total of 137 specimens of Capoeta barroisi (Heckel 1843) were caught from the Asi River between February 2002 and January 2003. It was noticed that 92.7% of the guts were full. C. barroisi mainly feeds on Chrysophyta, Cyanophyta and Chlorophyta saving a few Ciliata and Protozoa. Common food groups for this fish species were found to be Chrysophyta 30.15% though Dactylococcopsis sp. 17.62%, which are members of Cyanophyta were dominant species. It was also noted that there were remarkable alterations in food composition depending on the four season. Especially, during the spring, Chrysophyta reproduce under suitable environmental conditions and IRI GII indicies appeared to be important.
