摘要:This paper studies the M/M/2 queue systemwith flexible service policy. When the system has at leasttwo customers in it, every server service for one customerseparately. On the other hand, when the system has only onecustomer in it, the two servers service for the one customercollectively at the same time. For such a queue system, we derivethe steady-state probabilities of system states, the steady-statequeue length, waiting time and sojourn time of an arbitrarycustomer. Numerical experiments have been done to show thesystem performances which are different from the classicalM/M/2 queue system.
