摘要：Introduction: According to the Global Tuberculosis’s Report2017, the incidence of tuberculosis (TB) in India wasapproximately 28,00,000 that is one-fourth of the world’s TBcases . The Government of India was started the RevisedNational Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) in theyear 1992, headed by expert committee, for the entire country,in phased manner. This program helps to face the disease in amore managed and classified form by incorporating a newdrug regimen – The Directly Observed Treatment ShortCourse (DON’T). DOTS make’s the available to free andcompulsory good-quality ant tubercular drugs under directsupervision and making the program more effective.According to the Union Ministry of Health and FamilyWelfare, 2.6 lakh TB cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh in2016.
