摘要:Fuel emission gases adversely affect air quality and threaten sustainable health, life and environment. In this context, in Iskendcrun Bay. where there exists high volume of maritime trade, numerous port points and dense settlement centers along the coast. In this study, fuel emissions of NOx, SOx, CO2, HC and PM arise from cruise, berth accommodation and maneuvers of all maritime merchant ships arriving at these ports between 2015 and 2018 arc calculated theoretically using by SPSS package program. While evaluating these results, (he spatial fuel gas emissions are calculated from four areas; three ports sub-areas and one navigation sub-area. Total gas emissions arc compared slightly lower than the other heavy production sectors, but the amounts demonstrated that they are negatively affecting the air quality in the region. Although there are no spatial and temporal differences in gas emissions, ship types arc found as effective factors. We suggest that in order to reduce gas emissions and for (he healthy interaction of ports and nearby settlements, vessel navigation speeds' regulation should be considered.
