摘要:Climate change is a significant threat to the health and environment of the people. It has direct and indirect consequences on human health such as rise in rates of mortality and diseases caused by extreme weather events. These also include floods, droughts, tsunamis, heat- waves and other dis- asters, which kill thousands of people in both the developed and developing worlds. Due to this, Africa is experiencing a significant increase in temperature by 2010, particularly in the Sahel and part of southern Africa, is also dramatic decreases in precipitation. Similarly, a study finds that higher average temperatures have been observed across Europe as well as decreasing precipitation in southern regions and increasing precipitation in northern Europe Australia faces significant environmental and economic impacts of climate change across a number of sectors, including water security, agriculture, coastal communities, and infrastructure.
