  • 摘要:y-am inobutyric acid (G ABA) is a non-protein amino acid w ith several im portant physiological functions such as neurotransmission, induction of hypotensive effects, and tranquilizes effects. G ABA is produced prim arily by the decarboxylation of L- glutam ic acid (G lu) catalyzed by glutamate decarboxylase (G AD) [EC4.1.1.15]. Mung bean was an effective catalyst for G A B A production w ith relative high GAD activities. In this paper, GAD were extracted and purified from mung bean, and some researches on their structure and characters were taken. The purpose was to know something about the regulate mechanism of mung bean GAD and to give some help for G ABA accumulation.
