摘要：In the article, the studies are performed which confirm dependence of fuel consumption of the shunting locomotive on the train driving mode. Using a hybrid power plant in the shunting diesel locomotive is proposed, which can help significantly reduce fuel consumption, since shunting will mostly be powered by an alternative power source, and provide high environmental cleanliness of the locomotive both with the basic DC motor and the proposed new traction motor type – switched reluctance motor.
