摘要：A presente resenha mostra a visão dos autores sobre a obra de Amorim intitulada “Futebol x Teatro: rito, cena e dramaturgia do espetáculo futebolístico” da editora Paco. Este livro é uma publicação elaborada a partir da dissertação de mestrado em Artes Cênicas da autora. Amorim trata sobre o porquê de o futebol ser considerado um esporte e não uma arte, apesar de tantos elementos cênicos que este carrega. O Livro é dividido em três capítulos: Os Universos do Futebol: dos ritos sagrados ao futebol moderno; Aspectos estéticos e elementos cênicos do futebol; Dramaturgia do futebol: do campo ao texto. Ao final os autores fazem uma consideração sobre a qualidade e recomendam a leitura do mesmo. ABSTRACT Book review ‘Football versus theater: rite, scene and dramaturgy of the football show This review shows the authors' views on Amorim's work called “Football versus theater: rite, scene and dramaturgy of the football show” by Paco Editorial publisher. This book is a publication drawn from the master's dissertation on Performing Arts of the author. Amorim talks about why football is considered a sport and not an art, despite of the many scenic elements that it carries. The Book is divided into three chapters: The Universes of Football: from sacred rites to modern football; Aesthetic aspects and scenic elements of football; Dramaturgy of football: from the field to the text. In the end the authors make a consideration about quality and recommend reading it.
