摘要:In this paper,we present the control of a robotic system for automation inmanufacturing logistics based on the Open Platform for Innovations in Logistics (OPIL).OPILis developed in the scope of the European H2020 project Smart logistics for manufacturingSMEs (LA4MS),which aims to contend with the ubiquitous challenges in logistics for flexiblemanufacturing small and medium enterprises (SMEs). We developed the sensing and perceptionsoftware module as part of OPIL, and a custom navigation module integrated with OPIL. Wealso developed a novel omnidirectional automated guided vehicle(AGV) suited for transportingthe Euro-pallets with the payload of up to 400 kg. We use MURAPLAST d.o.o., the leadingproducer of Polyethylene (PE) blown film in Croatia, as a case study which demonstrates theeffectiveness of the developed system in manufacturing logistics.
