摘要:Congestion Control is a critical issue of NamedData Networking (NDN). Facing limited link resources, howto guarantee the QoS of the authorized user is puzzling NDNresearchers. By introducing the idea of Access Class Barring, this paper designs a congestion control mechanism based onidentity authentication (IACCM). In IACCM, a signature isadded to the interest packet for router to distinguish the identityof requester. When network suffers congestion, the routerwill restrict the unauthorized user to access the congestionlink, and protect the authorized user against congestion. Toavoid managing too many users’ public keys in the routerwhen the scale of requesters is massive, IACCM generatesthe signature using the re-encryption technology. Under thisdesign, the router only needs save one public key of the networkservice provider. The simulation results show that IACCM caneffectively defend congestion for the authorized users and it hasgood dynamic adaptability, but this improvement is based onthe performance sacrifice of the unauthorized users.
