摘要:Product parameters decision plays an importantrole in enhancing product competitiveness, which caneffectively improve quality and reduce cost. As we know, thereis a dependency between the process mean and processtolerance of the product that they need to be decided at the sametime to get the best solution under quality and costconsiderations. However, when the product is deterioratingover time, it is necessary to concern the initial setting and theusing time to avoid a high loss due to product failure. Thus, thisstudy establishes an optimization model of quality and cost tomake parameters decision with concerning productdeterioration. For global solutions, sufficient and necessaryoptimality conditions for parameters are also proposed. Finally,numerical example and sensitivity analysis are used to fullyexplain and relevant steps for product parameters decision arealso provided to help researchers apply the results of this study.
