摘要:This study was conducted GAP Agricultural Research Institute Directorate between 2018 and 2019 in order to determination of silage characteristics and nutritional values of some silage corn varieties in second crop conditions. Trial is designed in a randomized complete block design w ith three replications. Eight public and five check hybrid maize varieties were used as medium - late maturing (between 650-700 FAO group) in the study. According to the two-year averages; there were statistically significant differences in silage corn varieties in terms of fresh forage yield and silage quality characteristics. According to results, Plant height (PH), fresh forage yield (FFY), leaf/stem ratio (LSR), cob/whole plant ratio (CWPR), acid detergent lignin (AD L), dry matter ratio (DM), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) were ranged from 286.54 - 315.72 cm, 63.25 -87.30 t/ha-1, 36.71 - 52.96%, 23.89 - 34.86%, 3.17 -10.88% , 23.74 - 33.16%, 29.43 - 47.85%, 36.79 - 69.88% respectively. Fresh forage yield of AD A14.27 public variety was found to be higher than others varieties. A D A 14.22, A D A 14.27, AD A 12.10, SASA-134 and all check varieties were found to have acceptable values in terms of silage quality (NDF, ADF and A D L) parameters. AD A14.27 public variety can be recommended for second crop conditions in terms of both silage quality characteristics and fresh forage yield. According to the bplot analysis, High correlation was determined between Parameters that are CWPR, DM, LSR and FFY.
