  • 摘要:Rhyzobius lojphanthae Blaisdell (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) is one o f the most important predators o f scale insects pests. In this study, development pe­riods o f immature stages o f R. ^o;phanthae on Aspidi-otus nerii Bouche (Hemiptera: Diaspididae) at d if­ferent constant temperatures (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34 and 36 °C), 60% relative hum idity and 16:8 hour photoperiod, were investigated. The parameters o f the predator under different tempera­tures were calculated w ith RmStat-3.Development periods o f immature stages o f R.lophanthae on different temperatures demonstrated that egg development time at 14 °C longer than the other temperatures. In the all larval instars and pupae stage, the larval development periods become shorter, as the temperature increase. Total develop­ment time on different temperatures was found93.77, 77.14, 58.77, 41.36, 37.17, 29.79, 21.29,17.78, 15.31 and 20.63 days, respectively. Most o f the eggs died at 34 °C; only two eggs were able to enter in the first larval period and these larvae died in the first larval period.Besides, all o f the eggs died in this period at 36 °C. According to the results, it is possible to say that mass production o f the predator in laboratory condi­tions can be more economically and rapidly at the between 26 °C and 30 °C.
