标题:CONTRALATERAL COMPARISON OF PARTICULATEANORGANIC BOVINE BONE AND PUTTY CALCIUMPHOSPHOSILICATE BONE FOR MAXILLARY SINUSFLOOR ELEVATION THROUGH SIMULTANEOUSIMPLANT PLACEMENT
摘要:To compare the performance of anorganic bovine bone (ABB) and putty calcium phosphosilicate (CPS) in contralateral maxillary sinus floor elevation (MSFE) by simultaneous implant placement.12 patients with atrophic maxillae were treated with bilateral MSFE through simultaneous implant placement with two biomaterials. Sinuses on one side were grafted using particulate ABB (Bio-Oss) and the other side sinuses were augmented with CPS (NovaBone). Clinical examination, radiographic assessment and resonance frequency analysis (RFA) measurements were analyzed between two groups at different time points. No implants were lost and no significant difference was found in RFA value between Bio-Oss and CPS at 24h and 6 months post-surgery. Panoramic radiographs revealed significantly less reduction of initial gain of bone height at 6 months post-grafting in Bio-Oss in comparison to CPS (尸〈0.05). Cone beam tomography scans (CBCT) demonstrated a little larger grafting space and greater percentage of compact radiopaque area classified as D1 bone density in Bio-Oss than that in CPS.Both Bio-Oss and CPS were reliable grafting materials for MSFE within simultaneous implant placement. Radiographically, Bio-Oss might be more suitable for maintaining grafting space or bone regeneration post-MSFE-surgery.
