  • 摘要:From a transnational and comparative perspective, which includes the experience of exile, this paper analyses the identity crises experienced by the militant youth of the Spanish and Argentinian revolutionary left during the seventies. By studying family and gender relations, it focuses on both public and private commitment and transgression. It considers how the politicization of the private sphere influenced men and women within a global protest process, the heir to ‘68, in order to emphasize the contradictions between theory and practice, and desire and reality, which led young militants to accept an emotional regime in which there was a constant debate between who they were and who they were supposed to be.
