摘要：The research article covers the occurrence of and biosynthesis of PHAs. Various PHA production methods are discussed, PHA production by recombinant bacteria, transgenic plants and the application viz. industrial application, agriculture application have been highlighted. Biodegradation of PHA compounds in the environment has also been listed. The paper will be beneficial to readers to understand PHA production, application and their degradation in the environment.
