  • 摘要:In this work, a numerical study is carried out to investigate the effect of Rayleigh number on mixed convection in a horizontal channel heated from below by sinusoidal temperature profile and cooled from above. The multiple relaxation time double population thermal lattice Boltzmann method (MRT-TLBM) is used. A validation of our code is done by comparing our results with those found in the literature. Particle oscillation amplitude and temperature profile are plotted for Ra = 5 103, while the Reynolds number, the aspect ratio and Prandtl number are fixed at Re = 10, B=10, Pr = 0.667 respectively. The effect of Rayleigh number on the heat transfer is also discussed.
