摘要：In the previous edition of the International Journal of African Renaissance Studies (IJARS) I pointed out that this edition would be the last I am accountable for as the editor, since I requested to be relieved by the editorial board. Officially, the term of office for our editorial team, which consists of IJARS’ deputy editors, Prof. Zethu Cakata and Prof. Nokuthula Hlabangane, only expires at the end of 2021. Ideally, one or both of them should have become acting editor/s, leading to one of them becoming the editor, but they both declined, humbly citing unreadiness for the task. So, they continue as deputy editors.
