摘要:The objective of this experiment was to study the effect of H5N1 avian influenza vaccination on protein fraction profiles of pregnant cows. Dry Holstein cows, clinically healthy, were divided into two groups, control (n=3) and vaccinated (n=7). The vaccinated group were injected by commercial killed avian influenza H5N1 vaccine subcutaneously, four doses/head, three times every two weeks. Blood samples were collected from the coccygeal vein, starting before the 1st vaccination, repeated every two weeks until calving for the concentration of total protein, albumin, and globulin analysis. Results of this experiment showed that there were no differences in total protein, albumin, and globulin concentration between groups and time of vaccination (P>0.05). In conclusion, the vaccination on dry Holstein cows using commercial killed avian influenza H5N1 vaccine three times before calving does not influence the profiles of protein fraction.
