摘要：Work environments become more complex as the dynamism of the market increases. The aim of this study was to investigate contemporary career factors, work context and their relationship with health outcomes in professionals that work at three Information Technology (IT) companies in Porto Alegre. The sample was composed of 220 workers who answered a sociodemographic questionnaire and scales related to the variables of interest. The data were submitted to hierarchical regression analysis and network analysis. The results showed that career-related factors have greater power to explain Engagement at Work than Anxiety, Depression and Stress. This outcome is more explained by factors of the work context. Career atitudes of contemporary professionals and Work Design are related to Work Engagement and Anxiety, Depression and Stress for IT talents. It is known that both career atitudes and Work design should count for human resources interventions in IT companies.
