摘要：Today, for the world economies, the tourism sector is one of the most important sources of economic growth and development. In this conjuncture, the sector is regarded as a catalyst for economic development and renewal. From Turkey's perspective, this situation caused by improvements in the tourism balance of payments need, which allows an increase in employment opportunities in both the forefront and promotes economic growth. The aim of this study is to determine the impact on economic growth in the tourism revenue in Turkey. In this context, the impact on economic growth in the tourism revenue in Turkey tested by Engle-Granger cointegration method between 2003Q1-2018Q4 years using quarterly data. Tourism revenues compared to results obtained have been determined that both short and long-term positive impact on economic growth parameters in Turkey. The findings show that tourism is an important economic sector for the Turkish economy.
