  • 摘要:This study aims to reveal the problems faced by teachers with immigrant students in their classes and to identify the solutions teachers find for the problems. The method of case study, which is one of the qualitative research designs, was adopted in this study. The data were gathered from ten teachers. Content analysis technique was used in data analysis of this study. The study was carried out on the basis of two themes which can be listed as the problems faced in the education of immigrant students and solutions for these problems. The sub-themes regarding the problems faced in the education of immigrant students can be listed as language problem, adaptation to peers and tendency to violence, indifference of parents and deficiencies about the education given by the teachers. Solutions for these problems can be categorized under four sub-themes, which are visits to parents, activities to overcome language barrier, changes in the yearly plans and in-service training.
