摘要:The aim of this study was to determine the place and role of children's interests in the contemporary educational process. The paper is a synthesis of theoretical knowledge and the analysis of the results that we obtained in a research study. The study was conducted on a sample of 167 students, 165 teachers and 164 parents, adding up to a total of 496 respondents. In the study we used the descriptive method, interview as a research technique and questionnaire as a research instrument. The results showed that we inadequately incorporate the development of children's interests into the teaching process and do not encourage it.
