摘要:We use Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) carbon emission model to investigate the carbon footprint intensity and ecological pressure index of China’s provinces and urban areas. We explore the spatial-temporal evolution law and influence factors of carbon footprint intensity, and measure ecological pressure index from the perspective of low-carbon economy. The results show that, the central region has the largest carbon footprint, while the western region has the lowest one in the last '' years. The average carbon footprint intensity rises in order is the east, middle and west.Carbon footprint intensity indexes of the three regions all present a similar inverted "U" shaped development trend, and in descending order, the decline rate of this index was the east, the middle, the west.and the slowest in the middle. The spatial distribution pattern of ecological pressure index is consistent with the intensity of carbon footprint, which shows the increasing trend in order of the east, middle and west, and according to the spatial and temporal evolution law of regional carbon footprint intensity and ecological pressure index, the impact of regional low-carbon economic development on resources and environment is analyzed, and the influence factors of regional carbon footprint intensity and ecological pressure index are analyzed.
