  • 摘要:Multiple factors such as ambient humidity,ox-ygen,temperature,and microbial pollutants affectthe way bioaerosols initiate health complications,in-cluding allerg ic,respiratory, and infectious diseases, even in indoor environments such as metro stations. The growth of these bacterial species is affected byseasonal and climatic conditions (temperature and humidity). As the indoor air pollutant control in atransit sy stem is an impor tant public health andsafety concern,we performed this study between January and September 2019 to analyse and reportthe prevalence of bacterial populations in closed en- vironment systems in Saudi Arabia.Thirteen metrostations were chosen, and samples were obtainedfrom 21 collection sites at these stations at specifieddates and time.Bacterial samples were grown andincubated at 37 C for 48 h,respectively. The iso- lated bacteria were tested for antimicrobial sensitiv-ity and resistance.A total count of 84 bacterial sam- ples were obtained from the 13collectionosites-There were 49 bacterial species belonging to 29 gen- era,and the most common species included Carno-bacteriaceae,Neisseria animaloris / zoodegmat is,Bacillus pumilus,Microcossus luteus,Granulica-tella elegans,Staphy lococcus hominis subsp.homi-nis,Globicatella suldifaciens,Kocuria rosea,Ko-curia turfanensis, and Kocuria sediminis.Antimi-crobial sensitivity test results showed that only fiveof the isolated bacterial species were susceptible tothe tested antibiotics.Temperature and humidity af-fected the growth of bacteria.
