摘要:This study was conducted to determine the ef-fects of rhizobacteria having high phosphorus solu-bilizing and nitrogen fixating ability,obtained fromsoil rhizosphere regions of tomato plants,on causalagent of tomato bacterial cancer and wilt disease[Clavibacter michiganensis subsp.michiganensis(Smith) Davis et al.] (Cmm).Twelve different rhizo-bacteria isolates were used in the study.In vitro testsrevealed that antagonistic effects of the isolates onCmm ranged from 13.16 to 88.44%.Based on the re-sults of in vitro tests,rhizobacteria isolates with highimpact on Cmm were selected and pot experimentsas well as seed treatments were performed with theseisolates.In pot experiments,combination of Pseudo-monas koreensis + P.thivervalensis resulted in52.78% disease suppression.Similarly,combinationof P.koreensis + P.thivervalens is + P.koreensiswas more effective than the rest of the treatments andresulted a disease suppression ratio of 72.97%.Fur-ther field experiments should be performed with therhizobacteria isolates having the highest impact onCmm in current study.
