摘要:Novel low-cost,high efficiency and recyclable adsorbents have been considered more and more attractively.Cellulose and chitosan are the most abundant biopolymers in the nature. In this study, novel magnetic recyclable biosorbents based on cotton cellulose or chitosan (PCCM and PCAM) were synthesized, characterized, and applied for the Cu(II) adsorption in the water treatment. The kinetics study showed that the adsorption process of PCCM/PCAM fit for the second-order kinetics model and the Langmuir isotherm suggested that the overall process was a monolayer adsorption and seemed to mainly contain the coordination and complexation. It was found that the adsorption capacity of PCCM reached 85.0 mg/g.The optimum pH was 5.0 for PCCM.PCCM showed a higher adsorption capacity at stirred situation, even when it was reused for five times. The excellent reusability indicated that PCCM and PCAM were efficient, however their stability adsorption was still needed to test for actual treatment of toxic metal pollution in water.
