  • 摘要:There are many environmental factors affect the crop production.The current experiments were car-ried out to evaluate the response of faba bean plants grown under diluted seawater stress (2000 and 4000 ppm) to foliar application of proline (0,4 and 8 mM) and salicylic acid (0,1 and 2 mM) individually or in combination on some physiological,biochemical and yield characteristics of faba bean plants.Application of seawater at 2000 and 4000 ppm led to significant decreases in growth characters,chlorophyll concentrations,mineral elements contents N,P,K,K+/Na+ ratio and yield characters.However,Na+,electrolyte leakage,proline content,and antioxidant enzymes activity (catalase,peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase) significantly increased under seawater salinity stress compared with control plants.Nevertheless,application of proline (Pr) and salicylic acid (SA) alone or the combination of them under seawater stress conditions significantly improved the most of studied characters.
