摘要：The purpose of this article is to justify the necessity for state regulation of the labour market. Various options for setting wages at the state level, trade unions and employers are considered. It is shown the expediency of state regulation of the labour market in order to ensure the optimal level of employment. It has been established that the maximum tax base and the highest level of employment are achieved simultaneously, with the same optimal level of remuneration. None of these goals can be achieved separately from the other.
