摘要：This article is devoted to the analysis of problems and prospects of consolidating and implementing forms of direct democracy in Russian legislation at the Federal, regional and local levels. The authors have developed and justified measures to solve these problems. The full consolidation and implementation of direct democracy in Russian legislation will create additional legal guarantees for the implementation of the constitutional principles of democracy and citizen participation in the management of state affairs, taking the next step towards improving the Russian Federation as a modern democratic state.
