摘要:We propose a perspective on the figure of the devil of love developed between the 16th and 18th centuries in Peru and Chile as a cultural construct that persecutes female affection and carnality. For this purpose, we address the damning records such as the demonization of love and sexual temptation, the act of kissing and female flirtatiousness through clothing as well as the theological discussions that validated restrictions using the devil as a resource. A case analysis methodology is used, theoretically supported by authors who have addressed the issue of demonization and women.
