摘要:In recent years, sea-level rise has been paid more and more attention. What causes the sea-level rise or fall is a key issue of attention. The factors affecting sea-level change are so complex that we still not completely understand its processing so well. Sea-level change would lead to not only shoreline retreats and submerged lands, but also the enhancement of marine motivation and the unstability of currently coastal sustainability. In this article, we present the analysis of the causes and possible trends of sea-level rise or fall, and the discussion of potential impacts of sea-level change on Hong Kong's coastal environment as a case study.
