  • 摘要:When ethnography is appropriated by Physical Education researchers, it is a powerful path for knowledge production and an integral part of an agenda of discussion about the ways and possibilities for achieving it. This study reflects about our experiences in conducting ethnographies, especially on the changes it underwent through its approximation to Social Studies of Science and Technology. Considering four ethnographic research studies whose objects were related to sports practiced by women (volleyball and futsal), sports talent, and the science of Physical Education, we present an account of what was ‘gained’ – or ‘lost’ – when we changed the ways of looking, listening, doing, writing and analyzing in ethnographic research.
