摘要：The present study seeks to reflect and analyze the processes that led to the struturation of competitions, institutions and associations parallel to the Federação Paranaense de Volleyball, and how these institutions influenced the development of the modality at the regional level. We work with qualitative, documental and descriptive methodology. Delimiting the year 1932, the year in which we find the first record of development of the modality in Paraná, until the year 2015. At the end we conclude that with the emergence of new institutions fomenting volleyball in the state, allied to partnerships between public authorities and private partnerships, it became possible to further improve new forms and strategies of organization and management of volleyball, which, in turn, led to a greater development of the modality at the regional level.
