摘要：Report on the panel held in New York in 2013 titled ‘The Decorative Arts Within Art Historical Discourse: Where is the Dialogue Now and Where is It Heading?’ at the College Art Association annual meeting. The essay sets out the parameters for the conference, elucidates which texts have played important roles in the formation of the discourse to date and gives précises of the papers that were delivered at the conference along with their varying viewpoints.
