摘要:Goal. The article looks at the problem of applying competency building approach when training Bachelor’s degree students. University students’ cognitive activity and its shaping are being studied. The author’s goal is to specify on the concept of ‘cognitive activity’ and define its role in building professional competence in university students. Results. As the result of the study the author will define the concept of ‘cognitive activity’, research the ways and means of its developing in students and offer the solution to the problem of facilitating academic and cognitive activity in students by means of the system approach through the following instruments: the subject matter; educational methods and techniques; forms of student academic activity. The author specifies on the conditions for developing cognitive activity in university students. Scope of application of the results. The results of the study can be applied in the Bachelor’s degree training.
